本片是以动画为呈现手法，实为书写给台北国际艺术村的一封动态信件。藉由糅杂不同驻村艺术家回馈的驻村感想并结合动画的流动性及延展性，艺术村从一个官方机构被变形为连接四面八方的桥，创造专属此地的时空经验。

多年来目睹一位朋友因性虐待引发创伤后应激障碍（PTSD），此后导演偶然结识了一位身为幸存者的摄影师 —— 对方的经历激励他决定拍摄这部电影。
